The Saoirse Foundation are recruiting for two senior positions within our organisation.

Chief Operating Officer 

The role is as a key member of the Saoirse Foundation senior management team, reporting to the Directors & Chief Executive Officer. This role will be Saoirse Foundation’s second-in-command and be responsible for the operational and monitor the financial well-being of the charity, deliver financial and commercial strategies and day-to-day operational excellence.

Supported by a full team, the role requires an experienced and effective leader, with outstanding financial ability, able to lead across both operational and strategic spheres. The overarching purpose of the Chief Operating Officer position is to work with and assist on defining the financial and operational strategy of the Saoirse Foundation, and then to implement it, thereby enabling the charity to deliver its charitable objects.

Head of Fundraising and Engagement

The canditate will be reporting to the Saoirse Foundation Senior Management & supported by our team which focuses on operational support, fundraising and awareness-raising in Ireland of the work of our organisation. You would be part of a team of full-time and part-time staff members and volunteers.

The Head of Fundraising & Engagement Manager will be involved in all aspects of fundraising and networking for The Saoirse Foundation with a focus on developing and implementing a CSR strategy that will raise funds and awareness of the charity among the public, business & corporate communities. This role will also comprise a networking and public speaking element, representing the Saoirse Foundation at networking and fundraising events.
